Coinomi Wallet

Coinomi is a Multi-currency mobile wallet which has got pretty popular these days.

It allows you to hold 70 cryptocurrencies and more than 200 tokens which highest among all the crypto wallets.

The best thing that I and most of its users like is the Easy to use UI. If you are a beginner then you won’t have any issue in managing your coins.

Thanks to ShapeShift integration, you can exchange one cryptocurrency to another within the app itself.

On using Coinomi for the first time you will get a 12-word seed which you need to store safely. This allows you to hold your private keys making it safe to store the crypto.

This HD wallet uses BIP 44 protocol, unlike other wallets which use BIP 32. BIP 44 allows you to keep only one paraphrase, thus you need to backup your wallet only once.

Also, Coinomi does not allow InstantSend/InstantReceive Dash Transactions.

This app is free and currently available only for Android.

Ledger Nano S

Ledger Nano S

Ledger Nano S is the most popular Hardware wallet which allows you to store Dash safely along with 12 other coins.

This is my favorite wallet which I use for storing most of my cryptocurrencies.

While setting up for the first time, you will get a 24-word paraphrase which will be used to create your Private key. Since you own the Private Keys, the security is extremely rigid.

As of 17th September, Ledger Nano S supports 13 coins and 20 tokens. However, They are continuously adding support for new coins.

To send Dash to other address, you need to connect it to the Web version of ledger wallet. Moreover, It does not support Dash InstantSend and PrivateSend feature but soon it might be available aswell.

Ledger Nano is the best way to store your cryptocurrencies and cost $65. This is a great option if you store a large amount of cryptos.

Paper wallets are one of the best ways to store your crypto secretly.

Private as well as the Public keys are written on the Dash Paper wallet itself. So if someone gets this paper, they will have access to your Dash Coins.

Since, not much technology is included in this wallet, the chances of hacks are minimal. You just need to keep the paper safely.

I had already covered How to Make a Bitcoin paper wallet and making a Dash Paper Wallet is almost similar.

Just head on to Paper.dash.org and the remaining process is same.

I would recommend using this wallet only if you wish to keep your Dash Coin for a longer period of time.

KeepKey

Which One Shall I choose?

So These were top 10 Dash wallets that are currently available in the market. Thanks to Dash’s popularity we have enough wallets to choose from.

Since there are many wallets each having some quality over the other it might be pretty confusing to choose one.

But to ease down for you I can help you a bit.

If you are looking to store a large amount of Dash safely, then I would recommend Ledger Nano S or Trezor. They might cost you a bit, but it stores your cryptocurrencies with extremely safety.

On the other hand, if you do not want to spend a dime then you must with Coinomi(Android) or Dash iOS Wallet. They both are pretty secure but you might face some issue if you damage or lose your phone.

So you have to make the final call now and the one that suits you the best either be it Mobile, Desktop or Hardware wallet.

I hope you liked this post and now you can select a good wallet for yourself.
